Movie that can't figure out if it wants to be a kids movie or a grown up movie. Fails at both.

Overstayed its welcome. Good storyline, but after a couple of seasons, the mostly filler scenes are unbearable. Way too many characters.

Same old repeated stuff. Too slow. Too boring. Even the jump scares didn't get anyone as far as I could tell from the the audience's reaction. Not enjoyable to watch.

If I was to mute the sound, I would guess it was a Disney Channel movie. Despite looking and feeling like a Disney Channel movie, however, it certainly is not one, as it is full of expletives; sometimes this adds realism, but a lot of it seems artificial and too much. In my opinion, just like a Disney Channel movie, it is passable for viewing enjoyment, but it is no masterpiece, even as it treads the social injustice theme.
