At first I loved the show, but found myself getting depressed by parents who allow such wild disrespect of authority. Whereas I don't advocate child abuse, parental abuse looks to be a possible outplay in the future for these two ineffectual, namby pamby parents. There seem to be no consequences for the children's actions. My sister-in-law took this type of approach when raising her son. When he was in his 30s his sister told me she was worried that he was possibly being abusive to his mother.
