Ironic that a movie who’s main villains core trait is that he does not care about games at all, and only uses it as a platform to get rich would give off that very same vibe The movie feels like it’s made by someone who hasn’t played a game in their life, and perpetuates the stereotype that every single gamer - except for the female protagonist - is either a homophobe or a basement dweller This could have been a love letter to gaming, but instead it feels like a condescending speech from a boomer who doesn’t know the first thing about games
