The trailer promised a lot and did not deliver. As usual with these sci-fi series they always grab you within the first episode. But with this show it pretty much went downhill after 15 minutes. I stuck with it until the last episode and unfortunately this is time I will never get back as I could have been watching something more boring but more exciting then this yarn.
The cast which could of come from a Benetton advert (gosh I'm showing my age - does anyone even shop at Benetton?) Just did not gel together and were far to emotional for my liking. Crew members kicking off for no reason.....I had to rewind a couple of times to see if I had missed something which led to great arguments and fights. And anyway what profession did any of these crew members have? They just seemed like they were a bunch of youtubers and instagram influencers chosen to go into the big brother space house with William being the visable voice - they all were unprofessional, unprepared to be in space and have the world in their hands...god help us all and let the aliens eat me.
Every time Selma Blair was shown I had to keep checking if I was in the correct programme. I kept thinking she was in the new dynasty and was waiting for Fallon, Jeff, Blake and the gang to burst on the screen. Selma Blair looked really good though.
Netflix you got to do better with your homemade sci-fi series. If your writers cant do better just purchase sci-fi series off the shelf from an established network.
