One of the seminal science fiction/horror movies of the fifties. Great performances from the Hawks stock company. Crackling, funny dialogue and fantastic set pieces, most notably when they set the Thing on fire by dousing it with kerosene and igniting with a flare gun (to little effect) and the finale when the Thing is finally destroyed.
