I had wondered about the casting of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, although I have enjoyed her acting in other movies. I thought this role might be out of her reach. But for the first time, I didn't see Kristen Stewart acting in a movie. I saw a very mixed up, distraught princess who was driven to the very edge by the very powerful, and, in my personal opinion, very evil queen and future king of England. You can literally feel her pain and sense of betrayal when even the staff reports her every move to the queen or Prince Charles. I honestly don't know how she stood being a part of that family for as long as she did. I can understand why there is talk of an Oscar nomination for Ms. Stewart. I won't question whether a role is too big for her again. She is a much better actress than she is given credit for. This is a very good movie. Very well directed. The other actors are also excellent. The music is a bit creepy but considering Princess Diana's state of mind it absolutely works. I highly recommend.
