This was an emotional roller coaster. an adventure in to the world of a naturalist. The book grabbed me and the adventure began You start the Journey right from the beginning and it takes you places. It is an emotionally charged book with some prejudice and social issues.
There was some places that was a bit slow and it plodded along, The Author's knowledge of nature really, came out and it is astounding and informative.
I loved the trip through the marshes and seeing the bird and shore life through her eye's.The author has a great knowledge of nature and it is very clear and descriptive in the book.
I did read this book in one sitting and I couldn't put it down. I was a bit disappointed with some of the ending, The conclusion was just what is needed to be and the ending was right how it was set up. But the before was a bit of a let down I expected a bit more.
I was reminded of two well known books 'To kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee' and 'a Time to Kill by John Grisham.'
I would definitely recommend this book and I hope people enjoy it as much as I did.
