if you dont mind a basic plot and simple storytelling, the hole in the ground is a fantastic little "thriller" that keeps you on your toes without horrifying you entirely.

a perfect movie. literally nolan's best imo and i think it not only works as a space film but it explores family and what it means to love someone so much that you would go farther than the moon for them. beautiful movie, highly recommend but bring tissues. its honestly heartbreaking.

Excellent Film. Not the best Marvel installment, but I would consider it somewhat of a top-tier addition. It has it's flaws, and the timing of the release is obviously way too late, but what can you do during a global pandemic, right? I liked this more than most people, mainly because it lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. Amazing Cast and Action--I loved it. I would say it's worth the $30 on Disney+ if you want to go that route, but the Theater is the place to go for this one, folks! 85% or 8\10

What the 1st film managed to do with it's budget was stunning. It holds its spot as my 3rd Favorite Films of all time and it moves me emotionally every time I watch it. I've always been obsessed with creatures and Aliens, and the creature design in both films is amazing. Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe all NAILED their roles to perfection--I love A Quiet Place, and it has a special place in my heart. It sparked my curiosity, It opened up a new world for me, enticing me to make short films about this story with my friends. Part II taked everything I loved about the first movie and amps it up to 100%. I still think the 1st movie did a better job at keeping you on the edge of your seat when it came to simple scares and a perfect score, but the addition of Cillian Murphy and the entire plot are more entertaining, bringing me into this universe even more. The scope is larger and the character development is THERE. Both of these may be tied for 2nd place for my Favorite Films of all Time. I love them, I love the crew, I love the cast--I love A Quiet Place.

I would give this a 3.5 but unfortunately that's not an option--for the movie though, it was good. Not bad, not great, but GOOD. It isn't as bad as people say it is, and I think it will go down as one of the better YA book-to-movie adaptations. Nonetheless, it does have its issues. If you don't think too hard about it you will for sure have a good time. The Visuals are stunning and the Acting is great--for a movie that had a horrible production phase, it sure delivered.
