I don't usually watch historical dramas, but I watched this as I was an extra in one scene. Each episode had me wanting to keep watching, although I think we can forgive the poetic licenses taken with fact, but I often had to turn subtitles due to rushed and quiet dialogue. The costumes and settings are fabulous, and the acting is superb. I look forward to the next series!

A heart-stopping hook sets the tone for this engaging whodunnit/stalker thriller. Avoid reading the spoilers in the blurb and just go along with the ride. (Worth it for Sheridan Smith alone!)
