It was a game way ahead of it's time. Worlds Adrift is a massive sandbox game where the only limitation was your imagination. You could build a ship, a station, and amass an entire fleet under your command. I began as a new recruit for the Glorious Sky Armada, and I became their leader towards the end. The GSA fought, traded, and explored all parts of the game to make it fun and exciting for the players. I spent well over 1600 hours into this game and I enjoyed every second of my adventures. Fortunately I had the opportunity to participate in their closed Alpha, and once the game went into early access, it was much more fun to play.
Although this review is a bit late, I felt it necessary to post it regardless because I've been searching for another title like this one and nothing comes remotely close to the immersiveness this game presented. Bossa Studios truly had something groundbreaking in their midst, I can only hope they will come back to this gem or perhaps someone will finish it where they left off.
