It's essentially a rip off of Psych.

Did anyone else feel like Will Forte's character (Tandy/Phill) was just a poor attempt at recreating Michael Scott? I love will forte (go MacGruber), but this just felt like what would've become of Michael Scott had Steve Carell done his job badly. It's not really annoying, it's just used. Also, the Carol character starts to get on your nerves at one point. It's really annoying. Mike was honestly one of the best characters but used too little. Tbh, I only continued watching after the first few episodes purely out of curiosity to know what happens next. I have a hunch the writers used small cliffhangers at the end of each episode on purpose to keep the audience engaged because it's comedy clearly couldn't.

This show is underrated. The first 2 and a half seasons are so damn hilarious, it's pure gold!! There are scenes, like the chicken dance(s), that will make you laugh out audibly. Gets a little complicated after that, especially through season 4, but nevertheless this show is pretty amazing and really really funny. Definately worth a watch, don't think about it twice!
