Stephanie Reid

The structure of Starless Sea reminded me of an adventure video game mixed with a poetically told fairy tale novel. The orchestration of the tales within was so exciting, with cliff hangers and surprising twists, that I had to pace myself so I could savor the rich images so carefully painted by Ms. Morgenstern. Such a perfectly fun book to read over the Winter holidays.
