As a student of American history and a sincere admirer of Franklin roosevelt I was disappointed in the portrayal of this president as a superficial sex pot more interested in mixing martinis than showing concern over the deteriorating world situation The man and his place in history deserve much more lofty consideration

This film was beautifully shot and gorgeous to the eye. The actors captured the essence of the once very alive people they portrayed. I love period piece movies and this efford was one of the best.
