I do not want to say that the film is 100% historically accurate because it is not. Yet, it was really enjoyable and at the same time quite sad to watch the part of history where the glory of Isfahan was destroyed by the Zombies. what the film is clearly showing, is the fact that we (the Persians) had to deal with the dark minded ideologies that was implanted in the heads of our people. Stoning Rebecca for example, or burning all that knowledge that Avicenna had been working on and hoped "people would read the books for thousands of years"
