I could easily recognize this as Makato Shinkai's work, the way he artistically depicts each image is breath taking. I love the way his work often depicts the challenges many of us face in our daily live with a very cultural value to it in this case poetry. It is a gorgeous movie with a beautiful love story I recommend this to any anime fan.
