Omg, this film is poorly written, mostly horribly acted and just a bad film. I see a ton of fake reviews (yes Studios hire shillish drones to write positive reviews to entice viewers). Don't believe those reviews!

This is really a cheeky, sweet and delightfully written love story. Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Maia Mitchell portray their parts nobly they are thrown into one of the Australian penal colony (more than likely New South Wales.) Brodie-Sangster plays the Dodger the Oliver Twist character Jack Dawkins Aka Artful Dodger. Mitchell plays Lady Bell Fox, the governors daughter she of course is a "Lady" and several classes above the Dodge. Jack Dawkins has escaped his life of pickpocketing back in jolly ole London for one of medicine (which he had to learn as a stowaway on a ship). Of course, Fagin shows up. Played delightfully by David Thewlis (The Big Lebowski). Yes this is a Rom-com. And the major point being that Brodie-Sangster and Mitchell have a lovely Chemistry. Which is most crucial in a rom-com. And Yes it is PG-13. And no there is no extreme violence or sex. You don't need it. There are however some very graphic surgical shots of cutting skin and eyes and the such that will make you grimace. Call me old fashion, but this is simply a very well made show with delightful acting and just a silly fun story line. No deep dark revelatory content. Just sweet, cheeky entertainment.

The beginning of this was very entertaining. But after the interesting chronological history of the minions origin it got repetitive and dull. You can only find the minions little distinctive laughter and language entertaining for awhile. And then it gets irritatingly boring. It's a nice concept. The little creatures are indeed cute. But obviously it's made for the 5-10 year old crowd.

Amazingly well shot film with very genuine period settings . A heart moving story with some real historical authenticity. And what can be said of romance and or relationsips forged by the crucible of war? Maybe it is an outlier to the truth but one Jude Law and Rachel Weisz eventuate nicely.

This is so horrible that Ann Rice is no doubt rolling over in her grave. It started out with some promise, but then the direction or writing or acting or all of it turned it so bad that it will scare you right to another channel. Really. I'm being kind.

Brilliant show with perfect casting. Outstanding acting and absolutely brilliant direction. The script is well versed in the books. There's an unexpected cliffhanger for every episode. And Gary Oldman is at his absolute best.

Couldn't watch more than 5 mins.

Despite a tremendous cast, this was a totally lackluster drama. And Nicole Kidman, was absolutely horrible. Her Russian accent/dialect was ridiculous!! You think she would have hired a coach.

60 minutes of B-roll. 30 mins of acting?

Very moving suspenseful story, with a few very good twists.
