AFOLABI OLAYEMI

I couldn't make out the time/interest to see some other older medical drama (Grey's Anatomy, ER, St. Elsewhere etc), but discovering New Amsterdam was a breath of fresh air. Good story, good actors, lovely transition. But I have a problem with episode 2 (Rituals), where trained doctors like Max and Bloom were strong arming Dr. Reynolds into agreeing to a ritual for a patient, like a full blown voodoo dancing, gin spitting, smoke blaring ritual in a hospital for a patient with a heart disease!!!!
