Really impressed with Costner's quiet, nuanced acting. Diane Lane is absolutely real. Good guys good. Bad guys (and lady) bad. Keeps you guessing. Recommend.

Overall, this is a film i can appreciate. I use that word specifically, because Pitt is so good in it. The “smallest” and therefore, most difficult acting one can do. He’s always good, always watchable and too long under appreciated. It’s a beautiful film visually, and it says important things without telling you that it’s doing so. The only downside is that the far-fetched technological leaps in the film require a pretty intentional suspension of disbelief. Solid B+.
