I felt like he made his life way harder than it needed to be.when his wife died her mother offered to help him now 6 months was excessive but he should have let her help for a few months so he could get adjusted.like who in their right minds asks their boss to let him bring his newborn to work especially IF U DONT HAVE TO.he had plenty of support but alot of the time he chose the harder route.i know plenty struggling single fathers and to me this story was just ridiculously unnecessary.like when he put her in school and deliberately didn't make her wear the uniform which resulted her be teased.im like for what?

I've read the reviews and im realizing Tyler perry is better with theatre than the silver screen this is why the sets seem so obvious and the acting seems subpar.alot less is asked of theatre.i think he should stick to the stage but he of course won't because its more money in movies.this movie was boring predictable and ridiculous.

It's basic and predictable exactly what I expected same storylines over and over either it's the secret dad or a secret mom it's been done to death nothing new here at all.i was unimpressed and only watched it through because I'm black and the cast is black.
