the jokes aren't clever, the setup is strained to the breaking point for an unsatisfying punchline, and are driven so far into the ground that even the studio audience sounds bored. as it's the only late night show maga-morons can watch, it's no surprise that it has a large audience than the four or five other shows all competing with themselves. they're in a race by themselves and are extremely proud of coming in first place.
