Looses much or what the original series had that made it great, seemed like they tried to reinvent the wheel - visual style wise, while also trying too hard to connect with fans with silly gags & exaggerated characters (don’t get me started on sil) all in all it seems too forced & comes off as unauthentic, what this movie does have going for it though is it’s expansion on many unanswered questions in the original series (no spoilers) & Michael Gandolfini gives an eerily authentic feel to the young Tony!
