Sleeping Dogs is a brilliant and well thought out game. I remember preordering and getting it the day it was released on PS3 and I was blown away with how alive the city of Hong Kong feels. You can interact with many pf the food stalls in the markets and on the streets and you can interact with other stores such as clothing stores and even dealers that let you renovate your house a bit. The story of the game is very interesting and engaging and the missions are a lot of fun as the combat system is one of the greatest Ive seen in a game. The open world element of the game is packed with things to do such as drug busts, where you get to arrest criminals through a CCTV system, there are also people that ask you to do favours that can be very fun and interesting. Car races are also an activity you can do roaming around and they are very thrilling and fun. If you are into realism then the driving of Sleeping Dogs may not be for you. However, if you are into arcade style driving and vehicle combat then the game will be perfect for you as it is very fun speeding around Hong Kong slamming people chasing you, shooting out the tires and watching their vehicle flip into a flaming wreckage. Sleeping Dogs Definitive does all of this but makes it all better as you have unique outfits you can buy and it even has a Year of The Snake mode where you can play as an actual cop.
