It was indeed fascinating to read about how powerhouses such as US and China can foster trade, investments and markets to drive global economy on the collective and for greater good. As a professional, it was fascinating to read about the work that goes behind deals to merge SOEs, perform IPO, listing in recognized stock exchanges and restructuring SOEs. Even though, his vision about US - China diplomacy may have lost its relevance in the current context with escalated trade wars and unprecedented diplomatic tensions, his stint as Treasury Secy and his experience working with Chinese Counterparts is well described and interesting to read too. Just brilliant !
