I loved the stories. Short and intriguing. I had to get past the author's first paragraph, however. Describing beautiful Vermont followed by "overshadowed by liberal politics" and rest of paragraph really made me wonder if I should have bought the book. I find the acceptance of people here and the diversity part of the specialness of this state. And liberal politics have been instrumental in this uniqueness. Everyone is accepted. History is a great teacher but life moves forward. The authors introduction did not reflect this idea. .
