Scary insights into the drug world south of the border. I liked the series” pacing and near real life, or so it seems to me, depiction. Also I loved my stay in Guadalajara.

No pretensions in this movie like most Filipino movies. The characters seem genuine and easily tugs at your heart for attention. Supporting actors contributed some but the storyline is like a book you can’t rest reading til the end. This movie can match any memorable Filipino movie thus far. Lastly, Alden’s portrayal here is surprisingly and unexpectedly his best.

Story line offered obvious predictability with acting on the mildly believable. The addition of storytelling by both stars shows the weakness of the storyline that left me feeling somewhat cheated. ABS-CBN is notoriously cheap when it comes to sets and locations and this movie tried to maximize that budgetary constraints. There was no attraction whatsover to the locations and so consequently the overall movie suffered. Save your money on this one or perhaps go to a heavily discounted screening soon as this movie will be as fleeting as a B- Indian movie.
