I went back to rewatch it and when it first came out I didn’t like it but this time the movie is really well done it tells a important message of being honest to your self and not to let other’s opinions interfere with your dreams. It was a heart felt story telling about a boy whose dream is to become a musician but he steals from the deck and assent to the underworld as a family curse and he has to head back to the surface but his family in the underworld wants him to quit music forever so he runs away to find his father but runs into a guy named Hector. Spoiler alert but Hector want all he wants is to go back to see his daughter his daughter is Miguel’s grandmother.
