Story sucks!! Joel thought of Ellie as his own daughter. Any father would have done the same if they were in his position. The doctor wouldn't have even died if he had just let him take her . I also get why Abby wanted to kill Joel. But the problem is Joel didn't torture her father. It was quick. But why was Joel beat to death and what was the spit for?? Ellie doesn't hesitate to kill Abby's friends but later she hesitates to kill Abby when she had the chance. She ducking puts her hands in the air for no reason when she could have shot her.Jesse died as if he was a nobody. No character had any development. No character to empathize. They try to make us feel bad for Abby but fail big time and the ending is the worst. My disappointment is immeasurable and my week is ruined.
