Courtney Monson

I enjoyed the book immensely! It was a quick read in the sense that there were no slow parts and I didn't feel the story dragged on. It's told in first person by Sam, but still was a portrait in how different people can find the courage to overcome adversity in different ways, or for some characters, how they can't. By the end of the book, I felt fully satisfied with each storyline, the character development and the emotional payoff.
