I guess I will go with the Pros and the Cons since I fall in the lower side with it. Pros: Colin Farrell did a good job. Good makeup. Since it's so different than any penguin story I know, there is some intrigue behind it. Cons: As some have said, so far it comes off as a lesser Sopranos. Among a lot of movies of the same ilk. Such as the new Joker movies or the latest Batman movie that is more gangster oriented. Seems like there is a trend, with The Boys and over the top violence and sexuality, Civil War movie, that hatred and violence is the recipe of the decade. If you like that kind of thing, have at it. But I feel like it will have to get way, way more interesting and less typical to be a winner.

The good. The acting is pretty good. The photography is good. But then it becomes yet another false premise of a show about alien invasion that takes way too long get to the point. Tired of shows like this. It's one big soap opera. It's no Independence Day that's for sure. Let me guess; you will finally see something in the last episode of the season. Oh and of course, it's got to have the gay agenda in it with the Japanese worker at the space station in love with the dead woman on the spaceship. And no. No boss is going to turn over his badge and say, "You can steal the equipment even though your fired." Gimme a break. I think they must have a flowchart to make this kind of repeat boredom.

My brother, who usually has the same taste as me, recommended it. So I tried through 4 episodes to give it a solid chance. It never got better. It is predictable, and poorly acted. Seems to be very low budget. You better drink plenty of coffee to stay awake for it. The star is so ultra mellow he can put you to sleep. A few observations and spoilers: Cops are the dumbest ever in it. Makeup is lame. Too many obvious mistakes to list. One is he shows up with a VHS tape to reveal the bad guy but doesn't have a backup of the original? And the bad guys that can stop him from leaving don't have guns? Shades of Jackie Chan movies. Never saw a divorced wife act more loving toward an ex husband as i this. Columbo shows were far better written and at least have humor whereas this show has zero.
