I LOVED this movie, it brought Cinderella into the 21st century. It's about time a female lead doesn't just fall into the arms of a man and lose herself. The princess stories are antiquated. Kay Cannon didn't just follow that oppressive princess storyline where a man saves a woman end of the story, and Bravo to her!!!! Finally, a director broke the antiquated mold and empowered girls. Kay also brought more diversity to a princess story than any other princess story in the past. Good on you Kay. This movie was made for those people who want to see a change in movie making, Kay Cannon did not disappoint. Well done Kay Cannon, I loved every part of this movie.
