Have you ever came across with a horror movie with the blend of social message and dark storytelling? Then this is the one. This fable- horror is fantastically presented by the makers. The best part is the cinematography, storyline, costumes, and the look of the 19th century portrayed by the makers. The storyline showing the essence of Bengali culture with the blend of social messages regarding child marriage and women violence makes it a worth watch. Although being quite a slow screeplay it keeps you anticipated with the plot twists. But the climax scene is a little lacking in terms of giving the end twist and blow your minds but still it doesn't make the movie less interesting or less captivating. There isn't any big reveal but if you see it as a movie it's a good one with a unique and interesting concept and best part is the the cinematography. Go for it.

I saw this movie today and I can assume why it got such bad rating. Even after keeping the audience anticipated regarding the newness of the concept and idea of portraying a gay couple and their hurdles with the society, this movie failed miserably. The story was so overpulled and pointless and the unrealistic family drama going on just adds up in vanquishing the importance of the subject of the movie.I was hoping and looking forward to witness the social issues faced by homosexual couples although may be in a dramatic way. But nothing like that. It left me disappointed. No dialogue to be remembered, no great performance (though I'm a fan of ayushman), and also at some point you'll feel irritated with the plot being stretched unnecessarily. Also least humour in the comic scenes,which harldy could make me laugh. The storyline was unrealistic, illogical and over the top with no connection with the real issues faced by the homosexual couples.

The first two episodes are really good and keeps you hold your seats tight.. But from the third episode things starts getting bit plotless, unrealistic and illogical.. I expected a lot better though..It's a good try being a new genre..but not extremely applaudable acting. It was average. Certain scenes were just unnecessarily stretched and the ending was awful. They just needed something to make the next season.
