READ ME!! Absolutely amazing. As someone who acts and pays super close attention to when actors are actually looking real and genuine or not, the acting is beyond incredible!! It blows me away at how every character is portrayed excellently. Everyone has their one unique personality and humor. My personal favorites are Jesus (of course), Simon, Andrew, and James and John! But all of them are incredible. Nicodemus is also an INCREDIBLE actor!! The production is amazing and not cheesy at all. Although I ((HIGHLY)) appreciate all Christian cinema, sometimes Christian films can be a little cheesy. Which isn’t awful, but it makes it harder to feel the characters emotions and be deeply moved. Especially more difficult to touch non-believers or young adults/teens. Because trust and believe.. I know the feeling haha!! The Chosen completely breaks of the barrier of “cringey and bad acting”. The whole time I was watching it I would repeatedly say, this is genuine and authentic. Something that one rarely experiences. So Dallas Jenkins, if you’re reading this, just know that you have a crowd in Virginia cheering you on. God is using You so big to impact the nation!! So excited for more seasons to come!! God is GOOD!!
