I adore this actress but it’s SUCH a slow start! I wasn’t even sure I was watching the right thing. It’s disjointed and the dialogue is vague, sparse and gibberish. The second episode seems like it will put things together a bit more but it’s still so stinking slow. It might get better but the DP and director seem more enamored with self-aggrandizing cinematic moments than with entertainment. It’s a little brutal to watch. Can’t see myself finishing another episode even if it’s on in the background while I work since just the music is putting me to sleep.
