If this show didn't have the MCU behind it I wouldn't watch beyond episode 1. Everything feels like it's shot on a set, the cinematography is full of "Netflix" oversaturated gel lights, and the direction is flat and lifeless. Where is the humor? The human interest they are trying to build is so grim and limp that it's hard to care. But the big problem story wise is that Sam gave up the shield willingly. "Earning it back" now feels more like bad sportsmanship than heroism.
