I really like The Idol. It reminds me of those crime drama movies from the 70's and 80's where the good girl falls for the bad boy. Although in this case, Jocelyn is not all that good and Tedros is the worst possible kind of boy. I love Mr. Tesfaye as Tedros. He already has that kind mysterious and nostalgic vibe about him and Tedros is like the embodiment of that. I can see him and Abel smoking a joint together next to the pool with Caesar. Also, Lily-Rose plays one sneaky little Jocelyn. Like, everyone thinks that Jocelyn is just this sweet, naive little girl who falls hard for a bad boy, but that's not the case. In truth, Jocelyn knew exactly what kind of man Tedros was from the moment they first met. She's been luring him in from the start. Like how she wore platform heels to be taller and dominate him, how she made him wait for her downstairs, wore that incredibly sexy red backless dress. It's like a chess match, and she's winning.
