Before reading, I was a bit skeptical of the originality of the plot line(as I am if anything involving witches) but damn was I surprised😁. It’s a coming of age story featuring a seventeen year old girl who isn’t special in a family of powerful Fernwehs(even her own twin). Living on a tiny secluded island of a hundred people, there’s no where she can hide when tragedy strikes, and the future of her family is threatened, she must prove their innocence before something happens to her twin, and all hell breaks loose. On a mission to find herself and save her family, Georgina learns the guts, mind and strength it takes to conquer your fears. Summer of Salt is suspenseful, mysterious and witty, perfect read for a vacation, or long trip. Hard to put down, would definitely recommend age 12 and up.🔥🔥🔥10/10
