Garfield A Tale of Two Kitties. What is there to say about this movie that hasn't already been said. The writing: incredible. Cinematography: beautiful. Characters, plot, every thing about this movie is amazing. In this movie, Garfield takes the empire that was once ruled by British Garfield. Garfield practically becomes a god. And one god he is. He is an absolutely stunning figure. His orange fur, his large belly. Just... Wow. Garfield is the thing that dreams are made of. John is Garfield's right hand man, and he is very deserving of that title. Not only does he singlehandedly take down the British revolution, but he also is good looking. But the greatest part of this movie, and cinema as a whole, is the death of Odie. It takes Garfield from a God status to reveal his more cat side of him. It makes him more of a relatable character, and makes you realize the struggles has had to go through to get to where he is. I have watched this movie over 200 times, and that scene has made me cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. That is the power of this scene. And all this, the death of Odie, the betrayal of the British, and the loss of lasagna, all culminates into one final showdown between Garfield and British Garfield. This is well regarded as the best battle in cinema, and deservedly so. The tension, the visuals, the music. It is just breathtaking. And the movie ends how it began. Garfield is holding a dying British Garfield in his arms, and they share a final heartfelt moment. Once again, you realize that Garfield isn't just a God, he is a cosmic-shattering being. Garfield and British Garfield share a kiss and the movie ends. What a powerful end. What a powerful movie. This movie is truly a masterpiece. 11/10
