What movie are the “critics” watching?? This vehicle for actors looking for easy money (except for Daniel Craig, who must be EXHAUSTED from carrying the whole movie himself) is too long, too predictable, too boring. Just another movie remake of the board game Clue brought to life (if you can call it that) on the big screen. Hard to look at Jamie Lee Curtis with the matronly grey hair, Chris Evans sleep-walks through his role, Michael Shannon is better than this, Christopher Plummer gives the same performance as his 200 previous performances, Toni Collette overacts in her short time on screen, Ana de Armas tries hard and Don Johnson is, well, Don Johnson. Neither the score nor the cinematography are noteworthy. It’s tough to make a ensemble movie that works, and judging by the number of fellow movie-goers shaking their heads and mumbling about how they should get their money back as they left the theater, this one doesn’t.
