The story line is pretty acurate, but of course, liberties have been taken. And I mean, of course they're going to fill in the dialog with good stuff (the f... bomb is dropped a lot), but I'm fine with that. I'm confident it wasn't a word back then, but they probably had something just as vulgar/powerful. The acting is very good, especially Alicia von Rittberg as Elizabeth. I'm enjoying it a lot, and looking forward to the remaining 3 episodes. Don't know if there will be a Season 2, but if they did, I would watch for sure. I know the purest will find the highest perch to stand on while condemming the inacuracy and vulgarity of this show, but I just don't plan to join them.

After watching 3 episodes, this is now my favorite TV show. It made me cry, laugh, think, and recoil from the realistic violence and dialog. Taylor Sheridan is absolutely the Best writer in Hollywood today. And of course, the acting is a 10. Very violent, but what did you expect? It's true to the time period, where survival was minute to minute. Probably the most realistic movie I have every seen, and I'm an old man who has seen many movies. I see where several people gave this a rating of 1. Not sure what they expected, but that is just hard for me to understand. If I could rate it 5+ I would. Great TV!! Also, Isabel May is Jennifer Lawrence's doppelganger.
