One of the finest movies I have seen. Beautiful script with brilliant performance by all the actors. Ranveer Singh as Murad moves the soul of the movie watcher. From a shy introvert guy to the journey of becoming a rap artist is touching. The struggle of the protagonist because of his family, society, money, is all too real. When you are hit where it hurts the most, by people who you think are better than you, the portrayal of that emotion is phenomenal. I think the crux of the movie touches everyone, because I think everyone has a gully boy in him or her. A must watch for all age group.
