Wonderful show. Honestly, my whole family enjoys watching this. My 8 and 9 year old ask to watch it and even my husband pops his head in to joins sometimes. Funny, cute, excellent role models, age appropriate, and brilliant voice acting. Highly recommend for you and your not quite tween girls.

LISTEN - I went in pessimistic. I didn’t think there was a chance I would like this. But I loved every minute of it. Halle Bailey captured the essence of Ariel to perfection. And FINALLY, Disney let us have a real love story again with no contrived wokeness. This was true to the original and honored the heart of why we all love this story.

I had low expectations when my kids asked to watch this last year. But it only took about 15 minutes into the film before I realized this wasn’t your average, lame, made for tv, cheap laughs kids’ movie. It’s thoughtful, beautiful and fresh. It even stood the round 2 test after watching again this year. Please give this movie a slot in your holiday rotation - you won’t regret it!
