The story wandered aimlessly through the late sixties, with a storyline few younger viewers would know much about. The story has a great supporting cast, that probably were also sold a bill of goods since it was a Quentin Tarantino production. The story was way below the talent level of the actors, try as they may to make the movie worth watching.
Sorry QT fans this was no Pulp Fiction or even close.
