Dominion Omega

Okay I finished the game, the story gets a 7/10 for me. There was so much potential for it to be better, but in my opinion, it got screwed over. You had Thor who like Kratos was going through character development through the game, only to be killed in a pathetic way, without getting to say anything to his family. It was a waste of character development and when you go to this family after it all, they don't even look sad lmao?? Then you have that rift of ultimate knowledge, could you imagine if they made it that Atreus did look in it, and through that he was able to figure out where the other giants were. How to bring Brok back, or give Kratos the old powers he had forgotten back. It was a rift of ultimate knowledge, you spend a good chunk of the game looking for the mask pieces only for it to be destroyed in the end. They could have also teased them finding new lands through the rift. It could have even been made that Atreus could some how summon the rift at command to ask it questions, or he would have to give something in return each time for answers, and his eyes would glow each time he summoned it. So many ways to talk about the rift only for it to be wasted. The game clearly had pacing issues as well. Overall the story wasnt bad, I liked it, but even ragnarok seemed rushed, you only really saw the eleves fight, I didnt see any other armies, like the undead etc. They did say the gates were destroyed so yeah I guess. But I know im not the only one with these thoughts, many youtubers also said they had to lower their expectations after the ending.
