I expected much better. Made Napoleon look quite pathetic throughout much of the movie and did not adequately capture his “Greatness” ie strength of his personality, true military genius, (ie one of the greatest generals in history, on the likes of Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, etc. He brought order and structure to a post revolutionary France in chaos, including entire legal codes which survive to this day. The battle on the ice was interesting. Battle of Waterloo was well done. The Russian campaign didn’t adequately show it as one of the worst military disasters in history and the suffering and death that happened there. The Grande Armee was one of the greatest fighting forces in history and seemed invincible on the way in to Russia. They came out virtually annihilated. Would have liked to see more of that and less of his personal weirdness with his wife. I hope the directors cut will be better. But if you’re hoping for something on the likes of Braveheart or Gladiator you will be sorely disappointed I think.

When they didn't show the battle in the desert, I almost got up and walked out. This movie is garbage.

My hands and feet were sweaty the whole time. I could feel the anxiety. Strong emotional, instinctual reactions.

Season 1 was excellent. Season 2 was ok.

I enjoyed this movie. The sacrifices are disturbing, but the chase through the jungle is amazing. I would love to see a "Part 2"

Extremely disappointed in Season Six. All around this show is way too slow. Nowhere close to Breaking Bad. The end of Season Five got good and they finally had the momentum I was waiting for. All lost in Season Six. And all thus black and white, post breaking bad stuff? Why introduce whole new story lines now in the last few episodes? Wrap it up already.

I watched this movie based on the high Rotten Tomatoes Score, and was expecting a "Man vs beast" movie. Leaving aside the unexpected highly graphic carnage, the plot is so full of obvious holes that the story is not believable at all, and simply an excuse to present gore of the most gruesome nature I have ever seen. I don't know why I watched to the end, and regret it, because the ending is absolutely disgusting. I nearly vomited, and can't get it out of my head. Do yourself a favor, don't watch it.
