This movie was TERRIBLE. Here's why, 15 minutes into the movie, I literally predicted the entire movie and I was about 95% correct. Same old Hollywood formula. No depth of characters. Very simple writing. Very unrealistic. I do like both lead actors and they themselves weren't terrible. But c'mon Hollywood put in at least a little effort ...

The mix of animation vs real world takes some getting used to and is the reason I gave this only 4-stars. but the story line makes up for it. I though the acting even for a kids cartoon type movie was very good. Main character was a good lead. Cast was good too. And finally clean family fun (despite some who might object to old school "violence", i.e., anvil on the head type "violence")
