Personally, I really liked it. The acting was pretty good, especially Madeleine, the young girl. (I speak French) so I watched the original version. I usually don't recommend watching dubbed series or movies. Always watch the original and add subtitles if needed. The costumes are great, action is decent, a little too much shaky camera work in a few scenes but I'm willing to let this go. The effect are really good, I like the soundtrack and the plot line is not bad at all. The setting and background are good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend to give it a try. I must say though, I've read a lot of comments and reviews saying it was bad and historically inaccurate, which kills me... It's the first word of the description of the show "reimagined" of course it's not historically accurate dummies ! And don't say the acting isn't good if you don't speak the language, you can't really judge from someone dubbing.
