It's average. Wouldn't say it was particularly captivating. There's better films out there. The whole seeing through a screen or video chats etc. just became dull after a while. It's quite predictable.

This isn't as good as the first one, that being said - it really does carry on with it's eerie scares and does surprise you in places. Unfortunately the last half hour just goes down hill.

There's two versions of how one could describe and rate this film. There's the real homage to the 80's style action comedy meets a bit of horror and then there's the action thriller but minus the grit. It's a real toss up as to what you'd want to call this, as it just threw everything into the pot and hey presto! I watched it on a whim and went in blind. The only real good thing about it was our main guy Dan Stevens, as the rest of the acting was very lackluster and quite poor. Story wise, it was good but just not executed very well. Was it entertaining? Yes. Was it great? No.

I found that this film really lacked balance with what it was trying to achieve. A lot going on with very little substance and not really anything to really bite into in terms of plot. The acting was pretty good, but the minimal style of the film's direction and screenplay, didn't really bounce off the acting talent, leaving it to lack a good core.

Absolutely terrible! One of the worst horror films I've ever watched. It lacked pretty much everything. Awful acting, ridiculous and convoluted plot, bad effects and pointless.....not even worth 1/5 in my opinion.
