I am so saddened today to watch one more wonderful incredibly loved show become political. For many years I have watched this beautiful production present people, cultures, art, history and a myriad of other subjects without getting political. Today, in this season when we need the warmth of this former sun-lit breathe, I was so disappointed to see one of my all time favorite programs fall victim to politics. Today’s episode was liberal in it’s slant, though more subtle than most, I’ve made the difficult decision to stop recording this iconic program. I’m sorry, Jane. You’ve done an awesome job filling incredible shoes, but when politics reign, the show is over for me. It should never been allowed to happen. I’m sorry.
