I liked this movie. Not your average or usual origin story. It's in the veins of a psychological thriller/drama. Sometimes I forgot that this was a comic book movie, at times I thought Gotham is a real-world city. 😂
Went there with an open-mind, helped a lot in my viewing experience. Don't expect to be entertained. I didn't. This may be one of Todd Phillips' best/smart scripts, possibly an important directorial job and Joaquin Phoenix's great performance.
Mindblown by Todd Phillips' venture in serious movie like 'Joker'. This might be discussed about in psychology, pyschiatric classes, in medical/nursing schools.
Now you gotta choose whose side are you on?
