Absolutely horrible movie. A cussing preacher played by Fishburn, a grumpy alcoholic played by Cranston, and a meek and boring performance by Steve Carrell, the story had incredible potential, but the anti-American and anti-soldier theme was unrealistic in my personal experience. None of the Actors nor the director ever served in the military and it comes through loud and clear. It would be like a white person trying to explain what it feels like to be black. It would not have been so bad if it had not been so obvious. 2 hours I can't get back !!!
